  • 10.12.07 - Possible Kiln at Crossbank
    Scott Jacobson of Archaeological Heritage Services Ltd has identified the remains of what appears to be a kiln during evaluation trenching at Crossbank Farm, South Lanarkshire. Find out more
  • 06.12.07 - M74 Completion Archaeology Kiln Firing Project
    This weekend sees the continuation of the M74 Kiln Firing Project. Kiln building will take place on the Caledonian Pottery site, Farmeloan Road, Rutherglen, on Saturday the 8th of December, with the kiln firing taking place on the same site on Sunday the 9th of December.   • 22.11.07 - M74 Completion Archaeology Open Day
    The third open day on excavations on the route of the M74 completion project will be held on Saturday, 24 November at the South Laurieston Tenements Site, Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow, between 10am and 3pm.   • 07.11.07 - M74 Completion Archaeology Open Day
    The second open day on excavations on the route of the M74 completion project will be held on Saturday, 10 November at the Govan Iron Works Site between 10am and 3pm. Access to the site, also known as Dixon's Blazes, will be from Cathcart Road, between Calendonia Road and Aikenhead Road. Further details can be found on the project webpage.

    Evaluation trenching at the Burgh Halls, Linlithgow, has identified features that may be associated with the occupation and refortification of the town by Cromwell. Find out more
