The ruined remains of a building measuring approx 8 x 5m. Morared walls of dressed stone. Marked on the OS 1st edition map of 1860. Probably a late 18th century herdsman's house.

The ruined remains of a building measuring approximately 8m by 5m. Mortared walls of hand-dressed red sandstone (local bedrock). STands up to four courses high, chimney at north end, and upright slabs at south end, possibly representing part of a bed. Shown on the 1st edition OS map of 1860, but not on modern maps. POssible a late 18th or early 19th century herdsman's cottage.
