The SMR records a low turf-covered mound surmounted by a small marker cairn, probably of modem origin. Field survey located the site and recorded a low turf mound c. 6m in diameter in an upland landscape dominated by heather and moss cover. The marker cairn, constructed of medium sized cobbles and quartz pebbles, was clearly of modern origin and measured 1.5m in diameter by 0.5m in height. The source of the cobbles was probably a weathered slope to the southeast where a number of rocks and minerals were seen on the surface. A modern timber post has been inserted into the centre of the feature.
