A mound with a couple of earthfast stones projecting through the turf lies adjacent to the road WNW of Achamhinish Farmhouse. A possible dun was identified in this area during the 1993 ACFA survey of Gigha.

The possible dun identified during the ACFA survey is recorded in the SMR as WoSAS Pin 15442. The position ascribed for this feature in the ACFA report is NGR 165190, 649660, around 230m NE of that provided for this mound. Though photos suggest it may not be a convincing candidate for a dun, vegetation changes appear to show it as a higher area of ground in an otherwise fairly boggy field.
