NS 0513 6743. In the back garden of the former manse of Cnoc an Rath (Croc an Raer) are the stone footings of parts of at least one building and yard wall. The outbuildings and N wing of the manse may possibly be part of a former farm. A farm is on record at this site from 1576, probably being abandoned between 1825 and 1835. The site is marked on the maps by Roy, Scottish Records Office Kames Estate (2 buildings) and MacKinlay.
